COUPLES INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

Purple Buddha Holistic Therapies offers a half-day workshop for couples (or good friends) to learn how to perform a simple, yet relaxing and effective Indian Head Massage on each other.

You will learn the principles of Indian Head Massage here at La Niche, a stunning, woodland environment, in Villefranche du Perigord, in the Dordogne.

For less than the price of an Indian Head Massage treatment each, you will each receive a lovely Indian Head Massage, which you will do on each other, under my instruction. You will be able to take away your new skill to use on each other any time you like!

The course is taught in the English language and the Universal language of demonstration.

Hand-outs are available in English and French.

REIKI LEVEL 1 COURSE

Reiki is universal life force energy. A healing energy. In Japanese life force energy is known as Ki, in Chinese it is known as Ch’i. Everything that has life has Ki (Ch’i) but when a person has received a Reiki attunement they become a channel for this universal healing energy.

In this course I will teach you about Reiki and attune you to Level One.

In Reiki I, the attunement itself invokes personal healing on a physical level. Physical health often changes for the better in the months following initiation. Thus, Reiki I healing sessions involve self-healing.

As a Reiki I student, you can also do healing for someone else who is physically present (although you cannot charge for your services). Such healing is known as direct healing – you place your hands directly upon yourself or another person.

1:1 teaching starts from 150€. Group teaching starts from 90€ per person. This is for the two-day course which can be taken face to face (on selected dates) or online.

It is possible to attend the face-to-face course as a residential student staying in our Chambre D’hote accommodation (extra costs apply) .

I cannot recommend this treatment enough! It manages to be both very effective and relaxing, using only natural products and a soft bamboo cloth.

The 60-minute treatment is carried out in the treatment space in Shari’s delightful home - a tranquil environment surrounded by nature. The facial involves several cleanses, incorporating a gentle facial massage at each stage for a deep clean without harsh chemicals or abrasive techniques. This is very relaxing as well as effective. A mask is also applied, according to the needs of my skin on that day. The facial concludes with the application of moisturiser and a very refreshing spritz of toner.

The whole experience is enhanced by gentle music and the diffusion of essential oils.

I have also had an express (30 minute) mini-facial as part of a wider spa session, also highly recommended.
